Maybelline always being a budget brand has such a plethora of products to offer catering to different needs of beauty. One such product was their Colorama range of nail paints which has been very obviously over shadowed by their new Colorshow range...for all good reasons though..I do own own a few of these and today's review is of Maybelline Colorama Nail Paint in Coral Chic.

My Experience:
Maybelline Colorama Nail Paints come in a flat glass bottle with a white cap.The shade name is mentioned on the bottle itself. The applicator is easy to hold and the brush is good enough to give a non-streaky smooth finish.
Coming to the shade...now coral is one of the most talked about shade for the past 2-3 years. Each one of us has something in Coral in our wardrobe or vanity,so why leave the nail paint behind. Coral Chic is a very beautiful coral colour with very very fine gold shimmers..Perfect for this summer!!!!
What disappoints me is the poor pigmentation of this nail paint. The opacity shown in the pic above has been achieved after 4 meticulous coats....Yeah Its that sheer!!! And Yeah who the hell has that much patience :/

The wear time isn't impressive either. Even after so many coats,it doesn't last even three days without chipping. I can't even thing of applying Colorama nail paints without a top coat!
My Likes:
- Affordable...but then colorshow ones are cheaper and way better!
- Variety of shades to choose from.
- Coral Chic is a beautiful coral shade.
- Applicator and brush is good.
- Very poor pigmentation...too sheer!
- Poor staying power without a top coat.
Though I love the colour, the number of coats required to get the desired colour..i.e. what you see in the bottle drives me crazy :/
Repurchase: Hell No!!!
